BNR heat shield

Is it nessesary to have heatshields on bnr twins,I have currently bought a heat shield for LIM

I would think so...Otherwise you're just dumping more heat on the intake...

anything to reduce engine bay temps is a big plus on any engine. with the FD rotary engine, it's perhaps even more important due to the engine's already high operating temperatures.

The factory heat shields fit and should be installed unless you like crispy stuff in your engine bay.
