BNR 400+ HP Twins from RX-7 Store?
I've been looking into replacing my stock twins (83K on them) because I have some play in the compressor shaft. As much as I wish I could afford a single turbo set-up, replacing my stock twins with rebuilds or upgrades is all I can manage right now.
I'd like to get as much info on the BNR Upgrade from RX-7 Store for future reference, as that might be the route I choose to go. They claim 400+ on 15psi, which doesn't seem too far fetched, considering I put down 352 on stock twins on 14 lbs.
I appreciate the help in advance guys. Please get back to me with whatever info you have!

If you wait around another 1.5-2 weeksI'll have some dyno results. The compressor wheels are much larger than stock so there will be very noticeable gain - especially at 15+ psi. At 10 psi they are only slightly more powerful than the stockers. If you get them, plan on running them at 14-16 psi to be in their efficiency range. I know BATMAN has them running sequentially and Lost Time has them running non-seq. Both are not tuned yet but have noticed the power potential. Definitely a alternative to going single if you want some more power from a stock setup.

Brian,
Please do share the numbers that you saw on the dyno yesterday!! We are all very anxious to see what they can do. I know about 6 or 7 people that are waiting to buy them after they've seen some dyno sheets. Thanx in advance.

I'd also like to see Steve's mod list to see if it's gonna be similar to mine. I could surely live with 460rwhp!! Anyway, I wish that Bryan would just post the info instead of getting 18 million different phone calls from us asking about it. You know?
Zach
Also, was that set up non-seq or seq?? I'm guessing non-seq.

If I where him, I don't think that I would sit and wait for people to call me! I'd be showing that graph off to everyone. If these numbers are correct, these things would make more power than most of your single setups at the same boost. I think if Bryan wanted us to know about it, he would be saying something ya know? But, I could be wrong...CJ

Stephens car is an animal everywhere on the RPM band. It is such an impressive car I MUST have a 3rd gen! hehe. boost comes upto around 10 psi at 3K rpm then hits 17 psi at around 4 grand. It freakin pulls all the way to redline! Something that looks stock is very impressive. It was fun last night at the street races, I was filming while he reeled V8's in like fish lol. The car was so fast I couldn't hold the camera strait!!!
Merry Christmas.

We're going to another dyno next week to confirm the numbers......I know its going to be hard for people on here to swallow so I want 2 sheets from 2 different places so there is no question about it.
That is what he's waiting on and yea he will be screaming it from the roof tops haha

Bryan said Stephen's car spooled as fast as the stockers do in seq mode - I just set my car back up in seq mode to run these babies - I have carbon seals instead of the secret weapons like Stephen has - maybe I'll send mine back to Bryan if they make that much hp - 400 rwhp should be attainable with a HF cat at 15 psi. He also said tuning was a bit conservative - once those dyno sheets hit the forum, Bryan won't be able to keep up with the sets coming in.

fart on a friends head!!!
guys, i rode with stephen after it was tuned. . . i was very shocked. they bursted my bubble. it took them all night to get me to ride with him. i have been wanting to go single for the longest time, but after i finally rode with stephen i changed my mind. those things are instantanious and simply amazing. this is by far a great day for the 3rd gen enthusiast!!!!!

For the price and the power I wouldn't mind having to replace them if you needed to every other year.
