Whoa. So I was doing a little spirited driving the other night, let my car idle, then shut it down with no problems. The next day, I go into the garage and I start my car. I went away for about twenty seconds while the engine warmed up. When I opened the door, I heard my coolant buzzer and shut down. I had a huge leak that drained towards the passenger side so I didn't see it. I don't think I damaged anything b/c the car was on for less than one minute if even that. Maybe like 30 seconds.
I checked for leaks and saw that there was a blown/cracked hose right under and behind the water pump and y-pipe. I can't reach it without taking the water pump out. Is that the coolant hose for the turbos? It's about 1/2" in diameter. I'll tear down the engine a bit to get to it. I'm pretty sure that it is a coolant hose for the turbos. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks

It sounds like youre turbo water supply hose let go, there is so much heat in that area they make the hoses swell and rupture.I replaced mine before they failed, I got both suppy and return hoses for like $12 from the dealer there isant much room to try and fit a heater hose .I also wraped both hoses in thermotec heat sleeve so they could take the heat better.
