Blown clutch??
Engine runnin fine, sittin a little high at 1000rpm but sounds fine. Clutch to the floor and you can run through all the gears but when you engage the clutch no movement. Bring the clutch right up and the car won't even stall. Just carries on ticking over! The clutch??????

Was motorway driving for about 2 hours. Started to feel like it wasn't pulling properly. Got to a set of lights. Put it in to first went to pull away and had to rev to about 8000rpm to get any movement. Managed to get to the side of the road and now theres no movement at all.

Either something's really messed up with your clutch hydraulics, or your clutch is SUPER thin. Normally a clutch will start slipping before it gets to this point. I've seen cars with ultra-thin clutches that were way overdue for a clutch job, but you really know when it's due.
Anyhow, no matter what's wrong, it looks like you'll be getting in there - with the tranny out, that will answer your questions pretty quick as to what's wrong.
