i just put this exhaust on my 7, with the silencer in it sounds like a bottle rocket going off..like a space ship..it doesn't even sound like a car. Does the silencer rob alot of horsepwer?

 

In one of the rags I read I think it was import tuner they tested out a supra using a tanabe racing medalion and it gain around 10 rwhp then they tested it with a silencer and it gained like 0.1 rwhp..........

so yeah it does rob HP

 

I have the Blitz Nurspec-R on my FD and I don't use a silencer. I don't find that it is loud enough to even need a silencer on it and I have a DP and Bonez Hi-flow main cat.

 

do you think its safe to fun an hks intake, downpipe and blitz exhaust with out the silencer..without an ecu?
