Blitz & knightsport intake discontinued?

Did Blitz discontinue the intake for the rx7? If you're not sure what i'm talking about, i did a search and found a picture of it installed on a member's car.

Another one I like is the old Knightsport intake, it's similar to the Blitz (don't have a pic of it). Did they discontinue it as well?

I just bought mine about 3 months ago(blitz). If it was discontinued it must have been very recent. BTW I really want mine polished like that!!!

You can buy the blitz kit here brand new for $400, http://www.i-m-racing.com/blitsusinkit.html. I am pretty sure the kinghtsports intake is disconinuted though.

Not sure on the Knightsports, but the Blitz filters traditionally don't do a great job of filtering. It's also a VERY bulky intake and would be hard to use with a lot of intercoolers.

The universal SUS filter is definatly huge. But with the kits they are resized to fit the make/model. It's like any other intake, it fits and works with the Blitz intercoolers. Like that of the Greddy and Apexi. And they are proven to be one of the best filters out there.

"The BLITZ SUS Power air cleaners are made from top quality T-304 stainless steel. Totally unique, the entire filtration element is made from a fine stainless steel T-304 mesh (200 micron mesh and 150 micron crown). This mesh means the filter will never wear out, and have substantially less restriction than any other filter. Another feature is the super fine pattern of the mesh. This straightens the airflow and dramatically reduces aerodynamic ‘tumble’ (restrictive turbulence). The BLITZ® air cleaners also have fine mesh at the top of the filter, further improving the airflow capabilities"

i had the blitz and got rid of it. i thought the steel mesh 'filter' (if you can call it that) was pathetic. you could probably funnel sand through it. what a waste of money.
