Exclamation BLARG! rear "mazda" badge came off! HELP!

BLARG I SAY BLARG!!!

i was waxing my rx7 (day three of detailing) and my little black plastic "mazda" badge came off revealing several little oddly shaped holes behind it. i got all the residue off but it still has those ugly holes in it and waxed it for now.

what i ned to knoe is whether or not this one of the original badges on my specific car model? i have a 93 cym r1. was there a larger black rx-7 badge that went around it? i searched the forums for emblems and badges but didn't find helpful information. i checked some vendors and they all seem to have the efini emblems/badges that i don't really care too much for. unlike most, i guess i prefer the mazda badges more. my car came with the current mazda logo/badges on the front and rear. i don't really need those but i do want to replace the little black plastic mazda badge and maybe even add a black plastic rx-7 badge as well (if they came like that, as a pair i mean). does anyone knoe any information about this as well as where i may find a replacement? will the replacement badges have an adhesive backing?

btw, the black plastic mazda badge that came off didn't have any prongs in the back. the holes are not the same size, aren't exactly round, and don't even look level. i'm so confused.

Cool

there was once a large grey "RX-7" emblem above it. I say buy that, and then get the little "efini" emblem to replace the mazda emblem. it looks cooler. Both badges can be found at www.optauto.com for less than $20 each, and theyre pure JDM.

or you can use some double sided sticky tape or get your emblems shaved

neokai:

here's the url to parts.com for the rear badges

http://www.parts.com/index.cfm?actio...nt&sfid=213754

I would call Mazdaformance though, probably cheaper. I bought an emblem from ThatOneGuy instead of paying Mazda $45! $@%&

The Rx7Store has the efini version of the logo. My FD was just like yours and only said 'Mazda' on the back. I got mine from the dealer. I should have just got the efini one from the Store.
