Big Red brake kit - interest check

After I had my own aluminum hats made for my Big Red kit, I thought about makig my own braket and thus having a full 'kit' of my own. Someone suggested I sell my own kit bnow that i put in the time and $$ to get the aluminum hats made.

This would be the front only and include the following:

- aluminum hats
- custom floating rotors from coleman racing
- floating mounting hardware
- BIG RED 993 turbo calipers
- caliper mounting braket

It would probably not include pads or brake lines.

Cost wold be in the $2000 to $2500 range depending on how many kits are sold in a group buy.

Post here is you would buy the kit if it were available.

I am interested in a Big Brake kit, and that price is close enough to others to make it a contender. Can you post details....sizes, weight, etc

I don't see the point when you can get fully engineered brake kits for only $1800 with the caliper pistons sized for the FD.....or any of the number of pre-engineered AP Racing kits for the FD.

No offense, Damian, I just fail to see any advantages to the Big Red kit over the kits mentioned above while there ARE disadvantages....

Care to elaborate for the uninformed?

Damian, any pictures you can post of this proposed setup?
