This is also the same brace, just a different color. I just installed mine but the midwest winter hasn't allowed a test drive yet.

The one from FEED is not a true damper. There is no damper inside. It looks like one from the outside but it's not.

The similar ones you have seen are all the same as FEED. They are not true dampers. Inside the aluminum casing, there is a rod and a nylon bushing.

Only ours is a true damper design. Inside the aluminum casing, there is a damper inside.
