best recomended ignition set-up for 450hp?

hello i have a 3rd gen fd single turbo all fuel needed,fmic power fc etc,but refering to iginiton only have the HKS twin power i want to know what else i need to run better like upgraded coils,wich spark plugs,wires etc.

i just bought a jacobs rotary pro pack. it was reccomended to me, im going to be running jacobs plug wires, and NGK 9's all around, SP67 single, so im shooting for 450+. the igntion will support it but i might need race plugs

The stock NGK wires are good to go.....you will need 10 heat range plugs...like Denso Iridium 10BREIX. Stock coils with HKS TP should be ok, if they are in good shape. Some have run TII leading coils.

T11 Coils are a good choice. THere cheap and readily avalible.

thanks for the info,where can i buy a TII coil and what price they retail for new ones of course.

and leave the stock trailing right?

You can get a FC coil in the second gen classifieds. The TII and the N/A fc leading coils are the same. Just leave the stock trailing coils and you should be fine.

anyone have some good reading on when to use the different plugs?
seems like thats a very key part. I'm just finally getting around to modifiyng my car and all other RX-7s have been stock so stock plugs

The stock fc coils are like $600 new from mazda believe it or not. Ray tells me he hasn't sold one in a while, go figure

Re: plugs, on my setup 9s seem good up to 15ish psi or so, but when I plan on running 17 or doing any real performance stuff (roadrace/dyno) I swap in some race plugs (10/10.5/11) in the leading. I only use NGK or Greddy, as I have heard bad reports about some of the others out there.
