Well, it just must be my luck of never ripping one in 8 years. There are many SCCA racers who use them as well. I'm sure they think they are junk too.

Dont waste $82 on Power wires. Regular NGK wires work fine and a lot cheaper.

Disclaimer: * Please note* the following statements are my factual experiences and are not a mater of debate. If you feel differently about your experiences good for you…

-Magnecore came apart on me (at the boot while fairly new)

-RB ultra wires arched from one plug to another (rubber plug boot leaks, boots did not have metal shielding which I hear makes arching worse)

Now using MSD on my 7 (the tech info on them reads good and they seem quality, so far so good)

Running NGK on my daily driven Acura with no problems (I was not looking for anything performance its just what the store I went to carried)

If you read the whole thread you would see http://www.sparkplugs.com has the NGK Power Cables on sale for $66. That's only about 50% more than a regular set of NGK wires while having lower resistance and better quality insulation. They also fit correctly and are labeled, colored and shielded like the regular NGK wires. The regular NGK wires are fine for the budget minded but I don't see the waste for 50% more cost. Are NGK's uridium spark plugs a waste too when you can buy copper Autolites for 1/8 the price?
