Cool pic that I've never seen though. I'm guessing that's the concept car?
Yep, I thought the aero mirrors and mesh wheels were an interesting touch as well. You can see the aftermarket has some convergent design with the concept, like Ganador mirrors.

I tried to find more concept sketches but nothing came up easy. I think some of the Rx-7 books detail the artistic intention nicely. Interesting that the designs is wingless. But, I still like the OG s6 aero. First cut is the deepest I guess. And, it does fit nicely. But, I can't bring myself to wing my wingless FD. If I did it would be s6 stuff.

Sometimes I even wrestle with the r1/2 front lip. It's such a clean design with nothing tacked on, and I could use the ground clearance here in the bay area. I bet you know what I mean.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I just got internet service after it being out for a week.

I see there is a lot of controversy over the spoiler, which I get. My car already has the R1 lip installed by the previous owner. I think the car looks imbalanced without the matching rear spoiler. It looks front heavy, like a girl with fake breast and a small butt.

The car is currently in the shop getting some body work done. I am going to get it repainted and will have to see how much is left in the budget to mount the spoiler (unfortunately the shop I took it to, is very proud of their work). I would be open to swapping hatches with someone who does not have a rear windshield wiper, my only constraint is that we would have to ship the hatches or the other owner would have to come to me, as the military has limited my travel. Overall I think it makes the most sense to buy a used OEM and repaint and mount.

If you don’t want to stay stock there’s the ducktail spoilers, which look best imo on a car with other body mods. If you still want stock w/o going big wing but a little different theres one other option fwiw ....

I was asked how the FEED wing mounted. Here's a pic. It utilizes the stock mounting holes on a Touring model and is completely reversible.
