hahaha are you serious? why wouldn't someone pay $60. there was a $60 ground kit that sold like hotcakes not too long ago. the HKS is $120, Sun Auto, A'PEXi, Buddy Club, etc are all even more than that. and people DO buy them.

I'm all for free enterprise, but that's been addressed already, by several people in this thread. I did mine for <$10 and less than an hour. It's as good as anything produced commercially.

Sadly, that guy doesn't need any crack. I could make a kit for possibly less than $10, make my own picture and diagram for my buyers and then have a group buy.

You could easily sell them for 60, or maybe you sell them for 50 to make it sound better...and I bet I could sell it to at LEAST 10 people.

Even if I included shipping we're talking an easy $350 dollars for me and maybe....I dunno 2-3 hours of work, 4 MAX if I were trying to do it while I was drunk or something.

I mean, you do realize people pay other people to change their oil too right?

To a certain extent i could see paying for something a little more that would take you more time,effort,tools & supplies. But on our cars you learn really damn quick on how to do basic maintenance. But like what you & Sgtblue said...if you can make it yourself for under $10....whynot do it then? Or....since that guy was stating he could mass produce these kits...(which would most likely cost him alot cheaper than $10 to make since hes "mass producing" them)...whynot stay under $20-$25? He'd still make a killing by selling them for that much. Alot more people who wouldnt want to mess with getting all the supplies and tools to make their own would be more interested in this route.

The price wasnt definate, it really comes down to how much I can get the parts for. I should be able to get them pretty cheap, but wont know till tomorrow. I could very well sell them for $50, $40, or even $30, but I just dont know what it would cost me. I understand that someone could make it themselves for cheaper, but I can also gurantee that unless they also have access to wholesale houses, as in my case, then they wont be able to get the same grade of parts as I will.

Again, not opposed to free enterprise, but we're talking ground wires here, not wiring for the space shuttle. I'm no electrical engineer. Actually my knowledge of electricity stops somewhere just past plugging something into the wall. So I'm having a hard time seeing the advantage of super high grade, low impedance wiring would have. And if your talking about longevity or grade of insulation, I could replace mine several times over if they "wear out" for the price of a kit.
