and why would you choose a front mount when you can get the m2 large and keep the cooling problems to a minimum?

the m2 large is huge...and it works magic.

Witha bigger radiator and fans cooling shouldnt be a big problem..I am going to get a vented hood as well. A front mount shouldnt be a problem.

i have the greddy two row and i think that's really good for twins as well. The apex and greddy cores are about the same size. You can read up on the search for comparisons between the two. But i got zero pressure drop and no lag with this setup. And you can feel a humungo difference over stock, especially at night when intake temps drop like a mo fo.

Will the M2 large have problems fitting with the M2 Cold air box?

nope their airboxes are designed to work with either of their intercoolers, but your gonna have to get a smaller battery or relocate it if you want to run an M2 large though.

Danny,
If you had zero pressure drop, your IC wasn't working :-) How did you measure? ALL IC's will show some pressure drop. There is no exception.

The HKS type-s (I think its type-s) has a CARB#, its the only FMIC with one, if that makes a difference.

If I had the money I would install the turbostreetfighter FMIC. I don't want to move the radiator and I want to open up the engine bay. I would also try to do custom piping so they would be straiter then the ones it comes with. oh well, just a dream.

I don't think that a three row intercooler would work as well as a two for twins that is. I've got the greddy two row, I don't have my car on the road just yet but in about a month I should. I might/will get some dyno numbers then.

I think that front mounts are the ****, and if you live in the upper left hand corner of the country like me/Washington. you'll never have a problem with cooling.

Ahh, classic IC envy denial

Seriously, the larger 3-row has an additional row for charge air to flow through and get cooled to ambient temp. How do you figure the 3-row isn't going to work well with twins? Perhaps, you won't ever max out the 3-row capacity with twins, but that shouldn't have a negative impact on performance. The only downside I've read about was the increased thickness of a 3-row versus the 2-row might block more air from the rad?
