Really? Why? your car looks awesome. The front mount makes your car look MEAN! I'd say that a nice 3rd gen is much harder to come by these days than a Saleen Mustang.

I had it for 4 years now and that includes 3 engines and 3 set's of stock twins until i went with Single... Saleen... 4 years.. no problems... Just performance upgrades. Plus i got really bored with FD. It's gotten to the point where it has everything that i wanted it to have... it doesn't need anything else.

But that's just me... I'm sure there are a lot of people that think i'm crazy... especially since this is Rx7 Club

Damn, your out of your mind. That FD is way more of an attention grabber than the Saleen. Plus the FD handles good, I cant say that about the Saleen. Nice pics btw.

Ya man, the FD is way better looking But the cars are so different, aside from the fact that they both make a lot of power. The FD is small, light, fast... the 'Stang is big (er), heavy, fast... if I had a bottomless budget, I'd have the FD in a heartbeat. If I were going for a "reliable" (and not too expensive) sports car, C5 ZO6 all the way! Besides, the C5 kinda looks like an FD! The Chevy guys totally stole the FD's lines; I think many of us agree on this

Oh yea. Im right there with ya. I love my Fd, but damn. Everytime I get into my dad's Z06 that thing amazes me. Gobs of torque, it handles awesome (I think even better than my FD), brakes, and its reliable. But hey, I dont have that kind of money right now.

Fd has single with all the bolt on's runing 15-16psi etc.

Saleen has a pro charger, ported engine, long tube headers, borla exhaust, and a lot of other goodies.

They are both equally fast, I think... We never raced each other and neither of us can go on a track here because they are not up to the specs to be admited to the track....

<-- the former Saleen owner

I dont think he put the procharger on yet so the Saleen is only making 275 RWHP, not a ton but the procharger will help when/if he puts it on.

Do you by chance know what your car is putting to the ground?

420 not bad at all... how much do those little things weigh anyway? That Saleen is going to have a hard time keeping up even with the supercharger.

I don't know how much does mine weigh, but i think stock is around 2800.. I did remove a lot of stuff so it should only be less.

I tell you, i love that saleen. That car is so nice... you definetely took good care of it. Love the sound of the exhaust it's so unique... It doesn't sound like mustang at all

Yeah thats pretty light, but then again they are smaller cars too. The Saleen should be somewhere around 3,300-3,500 lbs, pretty heavy. Hell my cobra weighs 3,800 without me in it So even if he had more power then you, the weight gap will be hard to overcome.

Thanks for the compliment, I am just glad Dejan will take care of it the way i did.

So do you have any more pics of your car? and what is an FD anyway?

FD is financial Drain Just kidding.

It's the way it's called in Japan. First 2 letters of the Vin number. They have little pet names like that.

I don't have any recent pics other then those... we only take them once in 6 months
