Best $200 I spent on my FD...

I managed to score a Blitz FMIC with piping and brackets for $200 off ebay.

Finaly got it in the mail today, and went ahead and installed it. It has one tube slightly damaged, but nothing to worry about.

I have alittle more work to do to make it how i want it set up.(power steering line and ast)

I really like this IC, there was no change in water temps at all, and the install was fairly easy for a FMIC.

Next is injectors and a HKS twin power, and 15psi.

I'm running the exact same kit and I love it too. It doesn't block the entire front of the car which allows air to still get around to the radiator. Its a very simple kit I with only 2 pipes and what I secretly love doing after each drive is popping the bonnent and touching both pipes with each hand and really feeling the temperature drop between the two pipes even on a very hot day.

I believe thats the power steering line. My line runs at the bottom of the Front Mount so you can't see it.

There's something not right about the bracket where your AST is. Normally that bracket would be below the pipe and the AST will be sitting flat. I think you may have put it on the other way around.

Yeah, I had a friend helping me, the AST was his job.... I'm prob just going to delete the AST.

I'm going to move that power steering line later, I just wanted it to be up and running.

I have been using the Blitz FMIC for over 2 years now and love it. It was definitely better than the SMIC I was using and I noticed no difference in water temps between this FMIC and the SMIC but colder intake temps even through repeated abuse.

Yeah he has the driver's side pipe upside down. They end up aligning parallel for a portion.

Here's a really really old photo!
