Below Sea Level...Effect boost?
Hey all. I live in New Orleans, where as you may or may not know is 5 ft below sea level. So, my question is, would being below sea level effect my boost, and or boost readings?

5ft won't. Air pressure from high and low pressure weather systems have more effect then 5ft. Even if you lived in death valley it wouldn't be enough to do anything. But if you want nitty gritty air is denser the lower you go.

Altitude doesn't really effect boost, your car will make 10PSI (or whatever you're running) in New Orleans or in the Rockies. BUT the turbos don't have to work as hard to generate boost at sea level as they do at higher altitudes due to the denser air so effectively the turbos are running cooler. And as we all know, a cool rotary is a happy rotary.
