Beginner PowerFC Questions

Does the PowerFC use input from the o2 sensor or can you just remove the o2 when using a PowerFC? And why are there wires cut by the yellow connectors that go into the PowerFC?

The PFC can use the stock o2 sensor for cruise conditions, you can also turn that function off -- so no, you don't need to run the stock o2 sensor.

You have to cut four wires or pull the pins out of the PFC because the Japanese FDs did not have EGR or AWS functions. The car will run funny without removing these four connections.

I just installed my power FC cut the wires and left the os sensor in place and i'm installing a FJO wideband.... Here is a pic of what wires to cut or you can be brave and open the power FC box and unsolder the pins but I would just cut the wires and tape them up..
