Before Going Single...

Before going single how advised is it to upgrade the clutch/flywheel assembly? I'm in desperate need of a project to do over Christmas and was wondering how much difference it's going to make if I do the clutch/flywheel upgrading before or after going single turbo. I would like to wait as long as possible before doing this upgrade because I just had the clutch replaced about 10k miles ago. And one last question, how hard is it to switch out the flywheel and clutch yourself?

It depends on the amount of rwtq you are putting down with a single but chances are you'll smoke the stock clutch very quickly.

Just sell your stock clutch. It is probably in good shape. I would rather get some money back for a clutch instead of burning it up in no time.

I had a M2 clutch with 4k miles on it and when I was going to go for big hp with a different single turbo I got a whole new clutch setup...the reason I did that was I didn't want the clutch slipping on the dyno because the tuner had to fly in and I was paying for racegas and dyno time.

Well, how easily would it burn the clutch up with just a little bit more than 400rwhp?
