Bay area FD market dried up???

HI, last time I checked autotrader for FD's,
there was a whole bunch, but I just checked recently,
and the only ones there were 3 autos at shady dealerships! and those 3 ads have been there for like.. ever(probly sold, but ad not taken down).

Anyone know what the deal is with this?
are people not selling FD's around here anymore?
I saw there are still a few on ebay, but around here(SF bay area) it seems like there arent many.

any thoughts?

they are getting rarer and rarer, and falling into the hands of the wrong poeple, especially around here. and all of the ones for sale are in really, really shitty condition.

theres a vintage red r1 with 50000 miles for sale in the sf chronicle today. the asking price is $18000 though. i think it would be worth checking out.

The other thing is that a lot of ppl like to drive them in the nice weather, so that might account for the slowdown in sales. Just an idea...

well i guess you would classify me as a "shaddy dealership" since its used cars. if you wanna put it like that. lol. but we have a red 93 with 85000 mile on a rebuilt motor. the paint and interior is in good shape. i believe we have an ad in bay classifieds. heres the number if you want to call and ask abou it. if you havent already. 408-295-4412. my names tony, you can ask for me.
