Battery relocation HELP

Hey guys I am new to this forums and already have a question. I dont have a Rx-7, my friend does it that count , but I am looking to put the batter in the trunk.

I know its a STUPIDLY EASY THING, but I am very very **** about my car. I understand that your cars have the battery in the trunk when you do a intercooler mod so I would like to know...........how hard is it and what did you do? Any picture?

Some tell me to run the wires out side and others say run it from the inside. I am being told now that by running it from the inside a fire will start if there is a short (carpet will catch fire).

Also do I need to run a negative line as well. Another thing that I am told.....weak grounds will melt wires and casue chaos. so the guy is telling me to run a 2 gauge from the battery to the block. Also from the battery to the body in the trunk, then a wire from the engine to the body in the front.

To prevent a fire, I am told put fuses in the front and the rear on the positive lines.

Any help or a total install instruction will be very much apprciated. My e-mail is StreetStyleTT@aol.com if anyone wants to get me there. ALso please post your isntall pics. What terminals and blocks did you use in your engine bay and stuff? How did you prevent rust when you drilled? What do you use as a 12v source under the engine bay now?

Thanks
Street
