About a month ago I was driving along and something odd happened that I need some input on. FYI: The car is not my DD.

I was driving along and all of the sudden my radio turns off and then the two yellow warning lights on the lower left dash started flashing. Then the car bogged down. Two seconds later, life returns, lights stop flashing, and the radio comes back on. Nothing again until a few days ago and the exact same episode happens but several times. I had previously replaced the ground wire and added the Pettit grounding kit so all is well on that side. I pulled the positive terminal and cleaned everything including taking apart the battery mount fuse box and cleaning all surfaces. Put it back in and while I was pulling out of the garage the same thing happens. Put the battery on charge but tests out at a tad over 14V so the charger cuts off as it reads the battery is full. Tonight I pop the hood and notice the acid cocktail is leaking out of the top. Could the battery have a bad cell/internal short that is causing my electrical ghost?
