Question Bathurst Type R adjustible Coilovers?

Hey guys,

I posted this same topic in the suspension section on the forum.

But I wanted to know your opinions about this or any info regarding this?

I recently have Ground Control coilovers with Koni Shocks. The ride was severly compromised and I'm tired of it. So instead of going through another aftermarket product I'm interested in getting the suspension that was avaliable with the Bathurst Type R.

Suggestions? Opinions?

Thanks,

I doubt too many people have data on those coilovers (which is why you don't have any responses). Maybe someone who in Japan can help out.

Why don't you just buy fully adjustable coil overs? They'll cost you about $1000 LESS AND give you MORE control vs. the BTR. HKS fully adustables(Like the ones I have) allow me to control ride height AND dampening...I have it set at harder in the front and soft in the rear.

Badass jspec. Simply badass. I say go with Tein coilovers or the HKS. It's all about the money to bling bling ratio and you don't want to surpass it too much.

i agree with the guys. stay aftermarket. as far as i know, the coilovers ur talkin about dont offer ride dampning. try tien's web page..they have a coil over kit, with ride dampning @32 different positions controlled by an in dash control box. the box has a screen to show you which shocks ur dampning and controls front together, and rear together, respectivly independently. the whole kit costs between 1500-1800. do yourself a favor and check it out.

Cool

Alright guys, I've checked both of those out.
The HKS seem to be the pricey ones. The Tein's have multiple applications for the FD. I don't know which one to go with....
And who can adjust all these things once I get them on the car? It's great that they'll be adjustible 32 different ways but I have no clue when it comes to this....

I'm looking for something that will make the stock setting look harsh but at the same time give me better control than the stock setup..... Is that too much to ask?

So which one? HKS or Tein?

At least you guys saved me 1G...
