They could have just Priority mailed it for less and it would have been here by now.
They probably figured that if you hadn't really used it over 6 years, that 1 or 2 weeks more wasn't going to be a big deal.

Well SX Performance was not much better considering this isn't normal. It's almost 10 years old and doesn't have pitting so I won't complain. I'd rather be on the safe side and get a new parts. They'll be mailing out a new spring ($12) and guide ($8) tomorrow. I already had a rebuild kit that was $68 that included a diaphram, about 8 bolts and some different size orings.

"Hi Jack,

No, that corrosion is definitely not normal. I personally have never seen such extreme corrosion in the cover area. I wouldn't use that regulator if the spring has any pits in it after cleaning as that will cause a stress riser and possibly cause the spring to break. If you'd like I can sell you new internals and diaphragm assembly, just give us a call and we'll get you fixed up."

Exclamation

Check your FPRs boys....... I'll post in my build thread with moar details, but anyone running water injection (wiper fluid in my case) that has a boost reference post-injection may want to take a peak inside. Can't hurt and you may get a nasty surprise
