Base Fuel Pressure?
Base Fuel Pressure?
I hooked up a digital fuel pressure gauge to monitor my stock system.
at 0 PSI boost I see 40 PSI fp.
at 10PSI boost I only see 44 PSI fp.
at 14 vac I see 35 PSI fp.
while this seems to be a linear change it is not 1:1 like I thought it should be.
does anyone have a stock fuel system and care to share your info?
Is this normal for stock?
Is my FPR not working correctly. sounds like I have a leak on the vac line compared to what I thought I should get.

Per the manual and other sources; with stock FPR and stock FP or similar FP and by my memory:
idle: 28-32 psi
0 boost: about 38psi
boost: the 0 boost pressure(38) + boost pressure
If at 0 boost you have 38psi fuel pressure, then at 10psi boost the fuel pressure is 38 + 10 = 48psi.
Try using a mechanical FP gauge with a long hose run into the car for a quick side by side test. Either your new gauge is off or you FPR and/or pump or bad.
I had an Intellitronix digital FP gauge and it was trash. My AutoMeter one is accurate.
