Is this bad vacuum?
My mazda reman with about 20k on it is giving me some problems. my vacum was always about -16 or so till on one hot day it was at about -11. Now when the motor is cold the vac is about -16 but after about 10 mins of driving it goes to about -11. Now my ?? is the motor on the way out or some thing else cause this low vacum??
P.S I been have problem with my wire and my cooling fans

Vacuum should be read with all accessories off, foot off the brake, car fully warmed up and at idle. 15" + is a good reading.
If you have a low reading, and you have the stock ECU, check your air pump. If the air pump is not working, you'll get a rougher idle and reduced idle vacuum - been there, done that.

Oh, BTW, make sure you've got a good connection to your boost gauge. The ferrule and nylon tube setup that the Autometers come with is VERY prone to leaking - even a tiny leak will make a difference.

does 15" equate to -450mm or so?
