Hello all! I am looking to buy a 93+ RX7 (I actually used to own a '93 back in the mid 90s) and have a few questions. I have found a low mileage 93 that isn't running. The guy said there is oil in one of the turbos. Any ideas on what that may mean exactly? If the turbos are bad, couldn't I just swap the twin unit out with a used set for an easy fix? Would there possibly be engine damage as a result of the turbo problem? Thanks in advance for any help!

 

Anyone got any ideas on this to help me out? I plan on going to see this car on Tuesday or Wednesday, so I'd like to get any suggestions on what to look for (I've read the FAQs) and how much trouble this fix may be.
