Unhappy bad turbos?

my car is making a funny grinding sound when i take off in first and second gear. it happens arround when my boost kicks in. i took it to a mechanic i know and he said its the turbos i would realy like a second opinion. has anyone ever had this problem? my car is basicaly stock. the sound started about three weeks ago, it was very slight at first and after i punched it once it wouldnt happen again while the car was hot. i thought it was my transmission let me know.

Does the car smoke? If the turbos are going... they will start to sound funny. Grinding? I'd think that if there was something grinding in the turbos... You'd have blown them apart by now. Check all your fluid levels too. Can't hurt.

i found out what it is! my rear is shot i need bushings a wheel bearing and new gears. this is all because i dont have an engine torque brace. im ordering one tomorrow. when i punch the gas my whole rear twists so bad that my trany is riding on my chassi and it is making a vibrating sound. my clutch is too harsh i knew when that rx7trix guy said i wont mess up my car with a 6 puck disc hes was lieing. shady people.

Why on earth would you install a 6-puck clutch on a nearly stock car?

The lack of an engine torque brace is not the cause of your problems......

You might want to check out the power plant frame.

I doubt the brace is the reason!
