Exclamation ? Bad Turbo or what????

Okay guys to start my motor is Good, was recently rebuilt and was running good.. but not boosting at all on 1st gear. maybe once in a blue moon.. but 2nd and all other gears would get .6 bars all the way to red line!!! jst installed the midpipe and RB dual tip. ran better!! still no 1st gear boost..

Now out of the blue I was driving and for some reason it didn't want to boost at all and it wouldn't go pass 3000 RPM. I tried taking off and it was fine until boost hit 0 and it wouldnt go pass that plus it makes a noise like i have a lounch rev. (pah pah pah) lol sound effect.... could it be the turbo thats fucked up??

everything else is good on the car!!.

the car will drives normal as long as i dont go pass 3rpm or even try to hit boost anything close to 0 it makes that crazy *** sound and the car just jurks and bogs.

Just a guess

You may have popped off your boost sensor hose, and or be in limp mode.

The boost sensor is the small rectangular box attached to the firewall near the brake vacuum assist. The hose is on the bottom of that.

just checkd that and its not it... i just started the car after restarting the ecu by taking the ground off for a 10 sec or so... it idles fine.. checked all connectors and still nothing.... i did the cell thingy and didn't get any codes.. didn't flash at all!!

*car wont start. (all lights comes on but when i turn the key it doesnt start.) I have a hks turbo timer. and i hooked up the green and white wire.. and the car started.. ohh and i have a hks turbo timer wire harness . and the dam thing still got no power but sometimes it gets power and thats when the car starts but still bogs.. i took the whole thing off and still wouldnt start so i dun.. right now just worried about the bogging part.. been searching for a min. and couldn't find much that would help me!

* Heat light is on! (replaced the cat with a MP and left the sensor hanging so it draged 4 a min. now the light is on! i just hookd it back up to the bottom so it wouldn't drag, but the light still on!!

Lack of boost is almost never a problem with the turbo. It's either a turbo control problem (chamber, check valve, hose, solenoid, actuator, etc) or a flow restriction.

The problem may not be related to boost, either. Injectors for example sometimes misbehave only under heavy load.
