bad rear sway bar mount? or endlinks

Anyone had experience with bad stock rear sway bar mounts/bushings and broken endlinks?
what are the telltale signs?

*CLUNK*

Its easy to take a peek under there and see whats up. If something's broken or bent, it'll be real obvious.

My car was clunking over bumps and the rear sway bar bushings were worn out to the point that the sway bar was loose. The sway bar was knocking around over bumps. New energy suspension poly bushings fixed the problem.

For what it's worth at 98K miles, my rear sway bar links were still tight. They front ones however were loose and I replaced then when I changed the struts.
