BAD hesitation problems! Help!
Ok, i have not changed my plugs since i got the car because my old mechanic said i didnt need to. I bought the car with 77k and its now at 82k. When i get on it at WOT it pulls strong (except for the constant POP from my exhaust which i think is due to having no gasket from my dp to cat...dont worry im putting a gasket on tomorrow) but once i get around 6krpm it hesitates really badly! Almost like im taking my foot off the gas then punching it again. It does this at intervals all the way to redline. Seems to happen most frequently in 3rd and 4th gear. Sometimes in others. So what do u guys think? Is it my plugs/ignition? Please help me out. IM losing power here!

It would certainly be a good idea to change your plugs. If it doesn't fix it you will still be getting some info from the color of the plugs to help your diagnosis further.

I think I have had this same phenomenon when I was running my car one day. it just feels like your car is lagging on the top end. It is a horrible feeling when you know that there should be more power there somewhere. My mods are listed in my signature. I would love some feedback on this as well. It could be a fuel cut but due to what. I have a Supra fuel pump and the PFC and I know my plugs are in pretty good condition. My injectors are freshly rebuilt and my 850's are flowing around 880 and my 550's are flowing close to 600. Thanks for anybodies help.

Wow, you are backfiring under wot! I've had a bad exhaust leak, but I've never backfired until I came off of the gas....... I would start with changing the fuel filter and checking the spark plugs and plug wires...... Stay off of the gas until you figure it out!! Maybe dirty injectors..... I doubt you are hitting fuel cut....
