Bad exhaust smell

Bad exhaust smell

Normal bit of white smoke in the morning, little bit of rough idle once its warmed up, nice performance. But BAD exhaust smell, I just had some gaskets replaced in the turbo's including intake manifold gasket and new plugs and wires along with new vacuum hoses on the turbo, the exhaust started showing up these last few days. My friend was driving behind me and said he was choking on my fumes! Anyone know where I can start looking? Any help would be zoomarific (sorry about that I couldn't help it)

Your car is not the only one with bad exhaust fumes. I bet you everyone on the board is the same too. It sucks being at a red light with both windows down, the smell really gets into the cabin.

Yeah, I know lots of ppl suffer from it, I just want to know what causes it, being that I'm totally stock, and haven't had any bad exhaust fumes before. And this is really bad, more then what I hear others complain about.

You could try new plugs, if they're old you might be getting an idle misfire thats gonna stink up the exhaust. However, if you're smog numbers are still good, it might just be normal.
