B&M short shifter clone

I remember reading someone else who had this, but can't find the page. How did the install go and what extra parts would i need? This one comes with the allen head bolts.

-Thanks

I just installed one in. It was fairly simple. Had to work the metal around the old shifter to get to all the bolts (running short on tools.) Had to use a rubber mullet to break the old shifter, but once it was loose it took me a whole 5 min. Didn't need any extra parts, just got some liquid gasket. Love the results though.

just did mine tonight. i love it. it is a lot more mechanical than the OE shifter; which is good in my opinion. you know exactly where your shifts are going. I didn't get the any vibration noise like some people mentioned with the short shifters. It feels and shifts just like the B&M. save the $$$ go with the Gotham version.

See, that is my prob. I am getting some vibrations, especially in first and second. I'm going to go have to go back in and see what it is. I think it's from the metal around it. I do agree on the more mechanical feeling. I like it too, it goes exactly where you want it to

You might have, everytime I'm getting off the high way I see another 7 passing by. One day a red one, yesterday a green one with exhaust. I put a message on the hampton road thread to see when you guys get together so I can tag along. Happy to meet fellow 7 drivers.
