B&M short shift springs

I just installed a new aluminum shifter bushing but I can't figure out how to put the short shift together. There are tow springs and two little discs that are in two places next to the actual shifter. i'm not sure where to put the discs and the springs. do the discs go in first and then the springs or the springs and then the discs? thanks in advance.

the discs go in first. they should rest against the stubs that form a T on the bottom of the shifter stick. be sure to grease the bottom of the discs and the hole where the springs slide in.

no the discs should be the same diameter as the spring so they sit against the end. they are just bushings for the end of the spring against the shifter.
