AWS location?

This is in relation to a post i had earlier, I installed a power FC, removed the wires in the manual, but the AWS stills wants to activate, it's making the car idle @ around 3k rpm, does any one know where the AWS solenoid is located, I'm going to try and cut it off manually. I looked in the FD shop manual, but can't find it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under the UIM. You should be able to just disconnect the solenoid to disable it.

Upper Intake Manifold.....I remebered right after I posted that last reply....thanks though. I'm going to try and eliminate the AWS today, could it also have something to do with the Idle Air Control, if it's not the AWS?

I don't think eliminating the AWS does anything. I removed mine and my car will still rev to 3krpm if I don't blip the throttle. The ISC will simply take over it's job. If you don't put a resistor in your AWS plug, you also risk idling problems.
