AutoX Suspension Tweaks?
For the first time in 9 months, my car is actually to the point where it can be autocrossed...tentatively.
My and my father-in-law took it out a coupla weeks ago and had a blast using it as a two-driver car. We had some overheating issues, but only enough to worry us, not freak us out. More cooling mods are on the way, don't worry fellas.
Anyway, on street tires and ~280 rwhp, we were *** happy all the way around. We were running even pressure on all the tires, but probably should have been running lower pressures in the back.
All the Tokicos were set on the stiffist setting and the car is lowered (don't know how much).
My question is, for those of you that autox, what settings do you tend to use on the course. We had fun (and we're not pro autoxers), but it wasn't what it should of been in terms of handling, and we're not bad drivers either.
Any suggestions on setups that work for you guys?
TIA,
-E

I wouldnt have set it on stiffest unless the course was perfectly flat. I would also recommend the voodoobox fan mod so you can keep your fans on when at an event.

Not worried about the cooling right now. We've got it geared up well enough until it gets the final cooling mods taken care of (sometime in the next two weeks).
