Automatic Brake reservoir work on Manual?
So it appears i have a brake fluid leak somewhere as it goes down. The clutch works great. The brake fluid doesn't go below the min line though. I'll fill it completely up and then it'll go down to the min line and stay there. The rear brakes work great, fronts don't work at all
When I press the brakes, i hear a woosh for the first 2-3 inches before the rears work. (like no pedal pressure till then).
Now before I do a ton of things. Like to hopefully get advice from you guys so I can just stop guessing.
1. bled brakes like 8 times now.
2. Bench bled master cylinder ( gushes brake fluid out now)
3. bled the lines around the abs.
I bought another master cylinder but it appears to be for an automatic. Will it be ok if i just transfer the reservoir over so i still have the clutch line?
Should i not change my master cylinder?
I'm going to buy blue ate fluid tomorrow to flush the system again with and if there are leaks, hopefully can see them then...or should i just change the master cylinder with the other one i got and swap the reservoirs? This brake issue has been haunting me forever now
