Auto vs Manual and diagnostics

So I'm trying to run the Boost tests... does an automatic act any differently in these tests? Are automatics supposed to hit the same numbers?

I believe the transition to the 2ndary turbo might occur sooner - like 4000rpm instead of 4500rpm. Other than that it's identical.

The big difference that you see is that there is no let-off in boost whilst shifting, after transition you essentially see max boost at all times. But as Dave says, the numbers are pretty much identical. Go out and put the car in L to where it will stay not shift out of 2nd gear, and make some runs. You should see a distinct transition when your rpm increases past 4000 or so. You can also use the 'hold' function, put the car in drive with 'hold' on and simply mash the gas, it won't allow the tranny to shift into overdrive this way, and you can see the definite transition this way.

as stated above you will go into boost quicker under load . and you should see the same boost psi with properly working turbos and vac system 10-8-10 psi . what are your mods ? this could effect your readings.

I am starting to think I have a gasket leak in my system.. the hissing is very audible and only builds up to 4 psi .. period
ive already checked and replaced all hoses running to the intakes.. replaced the old clamps with screw clamps..

Have you replaced the coupler from the Y pipe to the I/C?
