Question Auto Tranny Problems

My transmission has been having problems shifting lately. Instead of shifting the the car is held in gear longer than normal. My battery died and I just got it started back up after about a week. Also the weather just got into the 30's. When I use the hold button there is no problem but when the I let the car shifts it won't. I noticed that the car won't shift into fourth until I get about 50 or 60mph or when I suddenly let off the gas. Does anyone have any clue whats wrong with my tranny.

Check your fluid level. It may be a little low.

Also, it may be time to get the Filter changed.

your problem is the transmission itself

Have you checked the codes on the transmission computer? Cross the tat and gnd terminals on the diagnosis box and count the hold light flashes....the manual will tell you if there is a problem.
