I can't take you up on that sadly. Will you be able to get the info on the custom wiring to the tranny and clutch switch. Better still if it is complex will your mate make a custom harness.

If it is as simple as you make it out to be, I'm nothing short of amazed...did it for my shitty little honda (gimme a break, it was my 1st car and not riced out, it was, for lack of a better word, hellish! This will definitely come into play when the time comes for me to buy an fd because as previously mentioned, they are cheaper and usually in better shape...did you take pics? I'm sure many out on the web would like to learn from your experience...

let us know when you find out something. I'm already committed to the level 10 stuff since I had the parts anyway, but if it goes again I'm going 5 speed.

Nice car rx7-AIII. I'm not crazy about the wheels, but since you have the whole mazda speed thing going...

Wiring Question

Ok, so when rewiring the automatic harness, what all needs to be changed and rewired? I hear theres only like 3 wires you gotta hook up to make it work. Is it easy to get to and all that stuff? I have a kind of messed up 5 speed harness, so I can take parts off of that, but I just need to know what all I have to rewire. Thanks

This is slipping down the list.
Is there anymore info on the wiring mods needed for the tranny and clutch switch?
