Move mouse to the upper extremeties of your screen around that area you will find a little search button, there are many people wondering about this including myself... There are numerous topics and thread started on this subject with a lot of information, there are also many sites that offer some information, those links are included in other thread.....

That's what it sounds like from reading his post. Good god man, don't do it. You're in Wisconsin for christ's sake. It's not like you have heavy stop-and-go traffic. There are plenty of auto FDs for sale all the time and they are usually in better condition and sell for less. If for some reason you don't want a manual, buy one of those instead. Or better yet, go get a supra instead. Their auto is much better than the FDs anyway. (no flames please, Mazda autos have ALWAYS sucked)

BTW, do you know how many auto FDs I had to wade through to find my 5-speed? A lot! Or how many auto FD owners on this forum would like to swap in a manual?

ok, deep breath, anti-auto rant over now.

If I am understanding it right you want to convert a R1 to a manual? The R1 only came as a manual. So I would question them if they say it is a R1 with an auto.
