Auto & Manual center plastic.

Hi, will my auto center plastic work with my auto to manual conversion? Can I make it work? I have polished mine and don't really want to change it. The chipped paint comes right off with a dremel buffer and compound and leaves a bright polished black finish.
Thanks,

Brady

Yes it will work because the shifter comes up in the same spot.

There are different part #s for alot of things on the 5speed and auto and I dont know why they did it.

Like some of engine the solinoids, the rear engine pieces and some dash pieces but its all the same.

But then there are others that are different. But Im 99% positive that they are identical.

They are not entirely identical... The boots on the auto and manual are different and screw in differently... The auto one will work jsut fine though
