AST Relocation with M2 intercooler

I just replaced my IC with an M2 medium IC. I want to keep my AST since I have a 1 piece thermostat housing.
Has anyone tried to relocate the AST? How was it mounted.

i just used a piece of flat aluminum and drilled a hole on each end, then bent one end to a 90 and used that end to bolt to the ast, then the flat end i just unscrewed on of the 10mm bolts on top of the filler neck and i was done, all the stock hoses still fit....

I mounted my replacement AST where the air pump was (fabbed an aluminum bracket and bolted to air pump cast steel mount). Mount it as high as you can. That way it will trap as much air as possible.
