AST questions

How does it work, is there anything inside of it or is it just a tank with in and out hose's? I hate the way it looks and want to make my own.

There's not a lot to it. Some have said the stock AST's design helps slow the coolant or remove air bubbles, etc., but people have used aftermarket AST's for years with no problems.

Really, you'll be time and money way ahead buying a good aftermarket AST. Unless you're really good at TIG welding and have a pile of aluminum in your garage .

Fighters AST is $139 -

already have an aftermarket on. i HATE the round look. to me it just looks out of place...I was thinking on making something more box like and mounting over where the fan relays mount stock... just an idea i have in my head not sure if it will work there yet though...
