An AST is a waste as is a Turbo Timer.
Been running without one for about 10 years.

yeah i think i agree with everyone else, the AST is kind of a waste of time. but if you still wanna keep it, it shouldn't really matter if its plastic or metal, either way it does the job

If you still want to keep it then yes it does matter. Plastic will harden and crack, metal won't at least not in these circumstances.
Steel braided lines do the same job as stock but it's that ****-proof element that eases your mind

+1 for Pettit. I would have gotten the fighters one if I saw it earlier. I'll either make a restrictor for the Pettit or buy a fighters one

I have a shiny RE-Amemiya aluminum one...Never had any issues with it
