Argh Need Advice Massive Fuel Leak

Alright ill try and make this short and sweet:

Full exhaust, intake, stock computer, automatic, simplified sequential with all block off plates.

My car stalled while boosting, I think it was because it got massively flooded.

Now it wont start, tried deflooding it numerous times no luck. The two trailing spark plugs keep getting soaked with fuel every time I try to start it.

I always suspected a sticky injector, so I just removed all 4 of my injectors. The fuel system was still pressurized so fuel started dripping down the injector holes.

Then after a couple minutes I noticed a 5 foot puddle of gas under my car, with a steady drip coming off one of the actuator brackets and I have no idea what leaking unless my engine was completely filled with fuel and is now leaking out???

Thanks guys.

Remove the UIM and ground out the fuel pump circuit on the diagnostics box. That will prime the system and hopefully show you the culprit. Obviously dont run the car since there is a known leak...

I didnt have a fuel leak before, then I removed the injectors, and after about 10 minutes I noticed that I was standing in a huge puddle of gas.

Heres the kicker though, I left it over night, and its still dripping at a consistant rate off the front turbo actuators!

I have probably lost about a gallon probably more of fuel in the past 10 hours, and I dont think there would be that much pressure in the fuel system. I havent started the car for the past 3 days since towing it home. Is it possible the fuel pump is stuck on??

Ive had a battery drain problem, maybe its the fuel pump sucking power?

Even if the fuel pump were running continuously (and you somehow didn't notice it) that would not cause you to leak fuel. The fuel would circulate continuously from the tank, through the fuel rails, and back to the tank until the battery died.

You need to remove the UIM and jumper the fuel pump diagnostic connector. In the diagnostic box jumper the "F/P" and "GND" terminals. Then you will be able to see where the fuel is leaking.

With the amount of fuel leaking I traced the fuel lines from the transmission up under the uim to the fuel rail. They are all dry. Nowhere on the top of the engine is wet, or anywhere near the fuel rails. My entire subframe is dripping with gas, with most of it concentrated on the passenger side. It is very consistant too, and not one bit slowed down so thats why I dont understand why its continuing.

No fuel is dripping into any of the injector holes, so I dont think I created a siphon effect by removing them.

I know it sounds stupid, but could my engine just be filled with fuel and now its found a way out?

Edit, just looked, now there seems to be some coolant in the mix, damn. It is most definately 80% gas with little trails of orange coolant.

No, I dont think so, the top of the engine is dry.

I just dont understand why its still dripping. I havent turned the ignition on for 3 days, and I de-pressurized the fuel system when I took out the injectors.

Thats why im thinking either the engine got filled with fuel or something else did but that seems a bit crazy.

Question

You said you removed the injectors. Are they back in the car now, or are the injectors still out of the car?

They are still out, took them to get cleaned and flow tested.

Ok. Right now your engine is probably just flooded. Once you get them back, start with the unflooding procedure to clean out an excess fuel.

Orange coolant? Not sure that's the best thing for your coolant seals..... I've only seen one FD running it, and it experienced coolant seal failure after about a year. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not.

Yep, the prestone long life. Ive been running it for about 3 years now, only experiencing a few coolant problems the past couple months but nothing serious.

you didnt try to prime the system with the injectors out did you?

Only other thing I can see is maybe one of the injectors stuck open and before you removed them it was leaking into the motor. Maybe its not leaking out of the turbo/manifold. have you done much proding around in that area?
