500 bhp... pfc okay la... not too bad..
if u got huge budget there are alot more choices if ur budget allowed..

those japs like to use Fcon Vpro for their highly tuned engines...
Haltech, or Motec or Microtek is also a good ECU..
people from my place... mixture of all above... a

The PFC is not the only stand-alone out there.

It is good, and easy to install/use, but not the only choice.

The question is this: Who is going to be tuning your car, and what are they best with?? If your tuner only knows Motec than buying a PFC would not be the best choice.

The limiting factor here is not the ECU, but the tuner.

Negative on the e-manage. It's a piggyback and to safely run that sort of power you're going to need a stand-alone.

Just curious on what your budget is???? 500 rwhp is not cheap, and is not likely to be very durable. That means you may wind up building more than one engine. Unless you have a lot of "disposable" income, 500 rwhp is not a realistic goal.

I don't think 500 rwhp is something you can afford. If if breaks, and there is a good chance it will, you won't have the money to fix it. It sounds like your budget will be stretched just to do basic bolt ons. That should get you into the 300 range, and get you a reliable car ............... that you can afford
