Well he can't control boost with the PFC until he figures out how to hook up the actuators. Correct?

thank you, i also noticed that the spikes arent so bad in 4th gear, previously used 3rd as the test gear. i can hold 10lbs of boost on the secondary up until around 6500rpm, thats when it soars to 15 now. i luv the pull but i know it aint safe

rip off the prespool line and put in a straight vacuum hose
obviously youve already disabled th eline to the wastegate solenoid so the PFC isnt doing ****
either take the prespool line off or replace it with a needle valve in it from home depot racing and put it to where you want it.

and put a cat on so you can control your **** before your motor blows from hard runs....keep the profec OFF at least and just watch it there

is your wastegate ported?? if not, i would look into doing that before hitting it hard with the midpipe

ok, great. do u know if i have to cap the other side of the pre-control actuator?

what does this actuator actually do? will it work if i hook it up to the stepping motor as well?

no....dont do that
my advice is just repeating **** thats already been said
go back and read man

your precontrol has SEVERAL other solenoids and crap depending on it.....dont rip off the signal sending side
you CAN control how much precontrol you have by manipulating the flow through the line that has the "pill" in it though.

the profec is strictly there to restrict or allow flow to the wastegate actuator....and tahts it. look at the websites attached. just go read aroudn on here.

the search function on here as well as info on those sites will answer all of your questions....you just need to put in the time and effort to sift through all the advice.

You may not want to do a third gear run until you get it all situated. I hit 1.0 bar if I do a third gear run and only spikes to 10 if I'm in the proper gear.

thats for sure but even with 15lbs im still running at 92% injector duty with an a/f reading of .90 so i guess that im still fine even if i floor it in 3rd. i havent gone over 15lbs... yet

Thats ok for now but what I was trying to say is that it will probably always spike higher the way you are doing it. Do a 35-40 punch in 2nd and see if you get the same results.

If you can actually control the boost levels. You can't control a spike but it will spike more like that. Do you ever race in 3rd gear at 35 mph, thats when it spikes the most so not a accurate reading.
