does anyone have a video of the apexi gt flyby sound for a fd3s? only one I see on youtube is the guy revving.

I have a apexi gt axle back, hks downpipe, and stock midpipe. I can get you the sound this weekend if you don't mind waiting. I will cold start, idle, in car and fly by. It's not that loud compared to the exhaust off my previous cars.

 

I had the apexi gt exhaust many moons ago on my FD, there isn't anything special about the sound or the exhaust.

 

Ya, honestly I only got mine because it was $100 on craigslist..... otherwise I would've gotten the next cheapest, biggest piping I could find.

 

Is there an exhaust that gives it a deep race car tone, loud, larger then 3">, and not sound like a weed whacker? lol. I love the sounds of a na rotary. So am hoping for something close.

One of the loudest catbacks you can put on an fd. It doesn't sound good in my opinion.

 

I'm feeling contribute--y.. I just uploaded an old video of it on dyno if it helps at all...

I got a good deal on the GT and diameter is nice, else I would have gotten something lighter(titanium) or the racing beat (i like the stock-ish look).

It's on a no-name 3"DP, resonated midpipe(magnaflow), and apex'i GT.
