Apexi Or Greddy

Trying to Decide On a BOV

Function wise I Like the APEXI
but
The RS looks nice and would compliment my color scheme of my engine bay.

The RS is relatively new so I was wondering if any of you guys/girls have comments on it

Thanks

My apex'i failed on me--it was venting boost while I accelerated. disassembled it to try and fix it no luck. I have heard from about ten other people over the years that their apexi bov crapped out on them as well.

I'd get the HKS SSQV. IMO it's the best looking and it has a great sound.

I hate the apexi that came on my greddy fmic setup. IT blows off for like 8 seconds when you climb a hill then slowly back out of the throttle. IT sounds like a long, constant sneeze. IF you adjust it harder, you start to get a little low end compressor surge. And it seems to leak a little boost, as well.

Couldn't agree any more. My buddy has it on his SR20 and boy, is it sweet. He's loved it ever since he had it. No problems what so ever. Look up the design on it, HKS uses a dual valve system, eliminates all leakage. Just my .02

I guess you did not search or even look at the current 3 page thread about this same damn topic.

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/bov-should-i-purchase-428792/

But i'll say the greddy that i have is nice. I like Maxcooper said in the other thread wish someone would make one that is quiet. They get annoying after a while, and i am tired of little ricers saying "let me hear the blow-off bro!!" Apperently they do not understand that you are not making power when you let your foot off the gas. For that reason alone I HATE BOV's
